I don't like any of them. They're all flawed by the fact you have to use the included battery packs (because they need exposed contacts to connect to the dock). No idea how obtainable replacements are when the batteries start to fail.

I stick with the official play & charge kit, despite the cable.


EDIT: Actually, this one looks interesting, if you happened to want a stand as well. It uses the controllers' original connectors, so you can use any battery pack, and it also has extra USB ports.

I didn't realise you couldn't charge the batteries from the play and charge kit on those. I don't need a stand but will look for something that states any battery will be accepted. Thx for the advice

For the record though I didn't give a strawberry float what my mates had so I got an N64 and now they are super cool.

I was gonna say without games kids maybe do more creative stuff but that's completely false because I had them since I was 3, frowned upon by my mum at times (it was a dad gift of course) and I made loads of plastercine monsters and stop motion animations and websites for them and gooseberry fool. It would have blown my mind if I could use a smart device for that and do it in better quality, then upload it to YouTube and become famous. (I'm kind of serious though that's how most animators start).

Only thing that bothers me is privacy on smart devices and yeah maybe limiting the screen time / attention span thing. But Minecraft is strawberry floating great.

Mine arrived last week. Games first and then about 3 days later the console. It's bubble wrapped rather than put in an additional box. As was Curry's (who didn't even bother with the bubble wrap). Credit to GAME, they boxed it up. And Amazon are always as secure as houses.
