It'll be on PS+ next month if that conspiracy theory is anything to go by...

Well worth £4, it's a poor attempt at a GTA clone, but it really is quite interesting, and the hand to hand combat stuff is pretty cool

It's way better than any GTA game I have played. It's more focused and the story, combat and characters are better.
It's not really anything like a GTA game apart from it being open world.

Plus you can highjack vehicles by jumping between them while driving

And you can kidnap people and put them in the boot of your car. What's not to like?

Did they fix the performance then? It was gooseberry fool at release.

It runs fine on my graphics card from 2008. Surely PS4 can handle it.

It's a lazy port, runs pretty much the same as the PS3 version (30FPS), just looks sharper. It's a shame but it still plays well.

Runs like gooseberry fool and nothing was ever fixed. Same goes for the DE on PC, that ran gooseberry fool compared to the standard SD which I own both standard and Definitive on Steam, DE on both PS4 and Xbone too. Definitely not fixed. And a lot of times it runs lower than 30fps on console.

I don't play the definitive edition.

Stop buying definitive editions.

Paid buttons for them, would never have bought at full price. DE is no different on PC from standard just runs worse :dread:

fwiw I've never gotten into a single GTA game besides smashing stuff up, I really like the setting in sleeping dogs. So it's a shame it's gimped in the 'definitive edition' if that's what people end up playing on ps4.

Yakuza is probably better though.

To be honest, I never had an issue with Sleeping Dogs on PS4, I thought it was great and I never noticed many technical issues with it (I'm not that sensitive to frame drops really unless they are really bad so maybe I just never noticed)

If you're looking for a micro SDXC card to feed into the upcoming Switch...

Here's a Sandisk 128gb micro SDXC class 10 card for under £24 at Amazon :o .

I paid £39 for exactly the same card at at Tesco last week... when it was £45 at Amazon.

EDIT: Now sold out but, as at 11:15, you can still place a back-order with Amazon at that price.
EDIT: It's back in stock as at 11:55... but now it's priced at £36.
