What is a Steamlink?

About as good as stepping in dogs muck thats all you need to know.

Bought one from GAME online for about £11.99 months ago when they had them on offer and it's never been taken out the box.

It's basically a thing that lets you stream games from your PC to TV with the added bonus of retro YouTube video filter and random black screens and control problems, the latency gives you longer to process what happens after you press a button which is great for slow people.

From most accounts it works but isn't a very good product. I've yet to drop money on one because of all the complaints.

That game actually looks cool though.

It's a basic streaming device that for the money does the job well enough.

It only does a maximum resolution of 1080p and only 2.0 sound though. And it's essential to wire it, the wireless on it is terrible. If you want 4k streaming and/or 5.1 sound you need to stretch to something like an Nvidia Shield.

I've got one and its a nice novelty but the lag makes anything but turn based games unplayable.

PS4 Pro + GT Sport + Evil Within 2 - £313.99
PS4 Pro + GT Sport + Evil Within 2 + Wolfenstein 2 - £338.99

Add all individual items to your basket at Tesco Direct to get those prices as detailed on HotUKDeals. If you happen to be able to get hold of a staff discount I believe at the moment there is an extra 20% off those prices available.

I would buy a racing game called Drive Bastards without even looking at a screenshot.
