Anyone know of any PS4 (preferably non Pro) bundle deals suitable for a 13 yr old boy who isn't bothered by FIFA? Asking for a mate who is struggling.

He definitely isn't looking to pay £300 or more though

13 year olds play violent games, right? I know I did :slol:

Not a bad place to start.

Would be worth them dragging their heels for a couple of weeks and seeing what Black Friday week brings up.

The new physical version of Snipperclips+ on Switch is 19.99 at Grainger Games, not that it's very clear it's the new one.

https://www.graingergames.co.uk/index.a ... ckid=98385

Alternatively Base have it for not much more...

How much are the expansions normally? Would I not really be using them until after I finished the main game?

Tempted by the £6 given there's a sub and I have only played the trial for a short while, but if the expansions will cost £50+ together I'd be tempted to get the bundle. How much playtime would I have to get through to get to the expansion stuff?

Those offers give you 50% off the usual prices, Parksey. You would play the main A Realm Reborn storyline before tackling the Heavensward expansion and then the Stormblood expansion. There is a lot of gameplay in that lot! I’m still scrabbling around in the main storyline, whilst someone like Seven has completed all of the quests... which takes a long time!

I've mentioned this kind of bullshit before. They do it so they can give large discounts on the complete package and make it look like you're getting a better bargain than you actually are. It's shady as strawberry float.

You're talking tens of hours before you even get close to the Heavensward expansion, and that's assuming you don't get distracted and just do nothing but story quests and a few dungeons to bump your level up when needed.

True. But at least that one the other day (can't remember what it was) had the discount applied from the start. This one's just bizarre.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is only £15.99 on the PlayStation Store this week. On disc, £20 at Argos and Shopto.

Wouldn't be surprised to see it as a Plus game now though in the coming months.
