'Dark brown' sounds atrocious... but it is actually completely lush. That two-tone caramel and chocolate colouring looks so good...
mmm-mmmn!

Arkham City ran like crap on Wii U. I'm not sure what the verdict on that was, but I'd be wary considering it was a mess even on 360 and PS3.

I have to agree with Bizzle, Arkham City runs pretty badly on the Wii U. The framerate is choppy when flying through the city. Doesn't make the game unplayable, but it's less than ideal.
Perhaps Origins is better optimized. I would like to think so.

[iup=3648102]Andrew Mills[/iup] wrote:I just managed to nab the Linx 8 full windows 8.1 tablet (that EG reviewed today
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digit ... experience) for only £69. In fact, it'll work out to be only £31 once my £30 trade-in (and potential £8 Quidco) is factored in!
It's a bit specific, but it's been working so far for me without a hitch:
VERY important note! You need to be a NEW customer with Very.co.uk and open up a CREDIT account (so 18+ only as it performs a credit check on your credit file). If successful, then you can pay, interest free, over 3 months - so £23 per month.
Step:
1). Go to Quidco and search for Very.co.uk (currently 10% for new Very.co.uk customers).
2). Search for the Linx 8 on Very, add it to your basket and opt to set up a credit account with them (so current address details if living at address for 3+years, or current + previous address if not).
3). As long as credit search is successful (I found out instantly I was accepted), then you can add the following £30 off code on the right-side of the screen:
4KMY4.
4). This credits £30 to your new Very account leaving you with £69 to pay.
5). Select Collect + for FREE delivery (saving any postage costs).
6). If you have an old, working, 7" tablet you don't need (like I do), then you can go here:
https://tablettradeup.com/uk/en/tradeins/linx/invoice and enter in all details, post them your old shitty tablet and get £30 credited to your bank for it!
7). If Quidco pays out then you've nabbed a seriously decent quad-core, full windows tablet for just over £30!
Clearly, this won't help everyone, but it DOES allow you to either play STEAM games directly, stream 1080p movies to your TV (via the mini HDMI-out) or play any PC game on it over WiFi with STEAM home streaming.
Oh, and it also comes with a Windows Office 365 12 month key (worth around £50 on its own).
Very helpful post - thank you! I hope no-one minds me quoting it again for the new page?
This is the tablet on Very's website, but
remember to go to Very via Quidco to buy! (The Quidco Very discount is still 7% for new customers instead of the old 10% - but if you're particularly penny-pinching, it's 7.07% at TopCashBack
the Linx 8 is £90 at Amazon.co.uk if you just want it without the faff!)
Just got the first decent
G2A promotions email in many months: £4.66 Rust (Steam gift), £10.16 Alien: Isolation (Steam gift), £8.99 Shadow of Mordor (Steam key), £11.89 Assassin's Creed: Unity (Uplay), and £4.22 Watch_Dogs (Uplay). I'm sure the rest of them will be cheaper before the Steam Summer Sale, but Rust and Watch_Dogs look like great prices to me - while Rust seems determined to stay on my backlog, I just played through Watch_Dogs last month, and could happily recommend it even for £6!
(Can change from USD to GBP at the top-right of the page)

I wouldn't. There are very few titles that are out, or will be soon, and aren't available on PC. It doesn't seem worth it to me unless there's a title that you really want to play.

Not sure if this is a national thing but in my local Tesco this morning they had some Wii U packs to clear. The premium pack with Nintendoland was £149.99 and the Premium Lego City Undercover pack was £169.99. They also had the Mario Kart pack but this was still full RRP.
Also noticed that they had discounted the regular and XL's 3DS...looked like the normal one was £89.99 and the XL £129.99.
