Finally just finished series one and watched first of season 2 online. Rather enjoying it but things seem to move too quickly sometimes and not matter the next episode.

Penguin and Riddlers descent into madness have been the best bits for me. Bruces discovery at the end was pretty cool too, didn't expect to actually touch on Bats stuff yet.

I'm pretty much up to date on season 2 (just have Monday's episode to watch). Generally I would say season 2 is better than season 1.

The latest episode of this was really good. The thing i like about Gotham over Arrow, Flash, Super Girl, etc is that the baddies dont have super powers, theyre just totally insane.

The guy who plays Jerome is really good, I hope he does turn out to be the Joker.

I suppose the thing that plays on my mind is that with a 16 year old Bruce Wayne, how long before he puts on the suit? and can they string out the baddies over that time period?

I'd disagree a bit about Jerome.
I don't mind so much when they do weird origins for the other characters, but the Joker should be a total mystery. Admittedly they've stopped short of actually calling him that, but at this rate if he isn't it just turns the real deal into a copycat. If he is, then everyone knows he's this guy called Jerome. It's the one part of the show I'm really not liking. Though the guy playing him is pretty good.

I'm very much of the opinion that the final season has to be about Bruce becoming Batman. As such they're going to need to jump forward in time at least once to get him to an appropriate age. I'd probably have him leave home at the end of season 5 (Around 18), have season 6 be Alfred trying to find him, before jumping forward and him coming back aged 24/25 for a 7th and final season where he begins his mission.

I wonder when Channel 5 will get round to showing this one. :roll:
