The comic book/stylised look suits the game's genre and adventure episodic content.

Cast

Rendered to look like a living, breathing comic book, Telltale's vision of Batman will feature an award-winning cast of talent, including Troy Baker in the role of Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle. We'll be able to reveal additional cast and characters as the season progresses.

Good to see Richard Mcgonagle in this

Bored of Troy Baker and Laura Baily voicing the main male and female characters in every game these days.

The art-style looks ok, but I really hope they've sorted out the engine problems.

Mafro hits the nail on the head, if any company was screaming for a new engine it's TellTale, they've been tinkering with the same tech for years now, they need to push forwards and move away from that clunky unintuitive engine. I quite enjoy their games, but it becomes a real struggle when the frame rate drops to low 20's on PS4.

Sorry if you're already aware, but this will feature a new engine:

Dunno if it's totally new, though, or just more tinkering of old one. Sounds like the latter, to me.

Not liking those screens, tbh. Kinda reminds me of a regular looking game but with cel shaded fx unlocked and switched on.

Troy Baker was excellent in Arkham Origins, happy with that casting. I don't recognise any of the other names.

To be fair, Laura Bailey is ridiculously talented. Not to say Troy isn't, but he sounds the same in almost everything.

Just as an example, She plays Fetch in Infamous and Nadine in Uncharted 4, I never would have known had I not looked it up.

But they're the most famous voice actors around, so it makes sense that big studios would want to us them, they know they can do the work and it gets their game some good promotion.

 Give her all the jobs.

edit: Only just now recalling the fuss about a white white actor playing black woman.

Umm, Joel from The Last Of Us and Sam from Uncharted 4 sound nothing alike, either, and they're both Troy Baker.

Yeah don't know where he gets that idea. Sam sounds like Nate most times just older, who doesn't sound like Joel, Ocelot, Booker or Joker (Origins)

Sam sounds like Troy does in everything. Infamous, Borderlands, Metal Gear, Bioshock etc.

His Joker is very good though.

Have to agree that Joel and Sam do not sound alike. Not to my untrained ears, anyway. (Cannot recall the other voices mentioned by Fade, though.)

I wasn't aware cheers, they've been reliant on the same tech for two generations now, sure the games look a little better, but there is absolutely no reason why it should be such a mess at times.

He wasn't voicing Batman in Origins though.
