After my second I was kind of thinking this wasn't for me.
It all started to click a bit more last night. I mean I knew what the general idea was but it just clicked. I think starting to understand where best to spawn on the map depending on where you squad was, what objective you wanted to achieve really helped. Initially I was just spawning right back at the start each time.
I'm still not very good it terms of K/D ratio but I at least feel now like I want to persevere with it to improve.
I still don't seem to have enough, war bonds are they?, to buy a better gun so when I do that'll probably help. Do you just get them by playing, and being good?
Are we going to organise a session with a full Xbone GR squad? The Mrs is away this week so it's an ideal time for me.
You unlock guns naturally by levelling up each class, it can take some time. In my opinion, aside from the medic, the starter guns for each class are pretty good anyway.
Also, don't worry about K/D, it's all about points. If you play the objective correctly, you can be in the top half of the score table with a terrible K/D, as long as you were playing to the objective and your class role. One of the things I love about the BF series, kills are only one of many ways to earn points.
Also, try to always be in a squad, as they are your spawn points. Preferably a squad that sticks close together. If i join a squad and can see each member at a different location on a map, i leave the squad and try another.
Stick with it, when it clicks I find nothing else matches the feel and satisfaction of a good Battlefield match.
