I'd love to play some games with people from here, other than the odd encounter I've been playing on my own most of the time.

By the way if anyone really likes this, I'd suggest they should find a cheap copy of Bad Company and play that a bit too, sure its perhaps not quite as easy to play as this is, but its really just this set in modern times (with more stuff all round), its available for not that much more than 1943 now too.

I did the same, I tend to join anyone on my friends list playing this (hope you don't mind!). I only got to take part in one game with you all last night though, before you called it a night :(

I was going to join Rik's game earlier in the day when there were free spots available, but it wouldn't let me in! I tried loads of times :(

Sorry dude, I don't know if the rest left the same time as me [about midnight] but I'll be around tonight.

Are you on my friends list? if not could you send me a request now [if you have access to your 360 at mo] and ill accept when I get home in at 5ish. Cheers. I'd do it at home but my missus has the laptop 24-7.

Nice!

I really need to jump back into Bad Company but that last time I did, I had terrible lag and it put me off. :fp: Maybe I should try again and see.

Yeah the lag in BC is really strange, its not as good as 1943 is now, it really seems to depend what time you are playing it, seems to me the later on you play the more likely it is to have crippling lag...which might be something to do with it being more likely you are playing against americans.

Getting a bit bored of this; I just feel like I'm going through the motions when I play at the moment. Doesn't help that I'm usually playing on my own. The most fun I've had by far has come from playing with a friend although he's buggered off back to Call of Duty already.

Bad Company is miles better than Modern Combat.

Really.

I dunno 'bout that.

Its a tough one, I prefer the style of Bad Company but I dont like the fact it takes 300 rounds to put anyone down. Bad Company with the weapon damage/hitboxes of Modern Combat would be delish.

If you fire in short bursts at guys heads it certainly doesn't. Or use a shotgun or sniper rifle for that matter.

Granted it takes more hits than 1943, but its no Halo, its still relatively leathal compared to most shooters.

If they have any sense, 3 new maps should appear by Mid/End August. 6 months from now would make sure the game was dead.

They are able to see how many people are playing the game, no matter your personal preference I think there are still loads of people playing the game.

New maps in a couple of months would do me, the maps are fine at the moment as long as you aren't playing the game nonstop.

I've finally got the 100 games achievement, I think I'll give this a rest for now. Fantastic game, well worth the asking price (I've played it for over 22 hours!), and I'll certainly return to it if/when they add some more maps.
