Should give Amstell's run a go. Just for the way he would mock Noel Fielding.

Amstell was amazing. That episode where he mercilessly took the piss out of the knob end from Towers of London (how surprising that they didn't become massive, trollololol) was absolutely fantastic.

He was strawberry floating fantastic. Lamarr was good but Amstell was so much better.

He was amazing on Pop World on T4 too with Miquita Oliver back in the day.

I preferred Amstell to Lamarr. I hated Lamarr's hair.

tbf she's still got it:

I miss Popworld. I still remember Amstell interviewing Lemar by shouting at him through a megaphone from the other end of a carpark in a segment called "Lemar from Afar"

They don't make them like they used to.

Amstel was fantastic on this. He graduated in my mind from being the muppet on T4, to being a hilariously sharp gentleman. The episode with Preston is amazing.

I never watched it much after that.

+1 for Amstell fandom. Does anyone know if he left or was sacked?

He left to write his sitcom 'Grandma's House'. Been doing standup pretty much since then.

It was one of my favourite shows when I was younger when Mark Lamarr hosted it,it seemed proper edgy and hilarious. Amstell was outstanding too. Haven't really watched since he left, saw one or two episodes with Rhod Gilbert,he didn't fit the show at all. Noel Fielding can now strawberry float off and be "random" on the dole.

It'd be great if they brought back "They think it's all over" instead of it.It'll probably be a reality/talent show instead.

The Courtney Love joke was probably my favourite moment of the Amstell era.

Noel Fielding killed the show with his all pervasive shitness.

I liked it when Lamarr did it but Amstell was strawberry floating class.

I loved Lamarr, Amstell and Gilbert as hosts. It was a bit gooseberry fool when it was a guest host every week, although the Terry Wogan episode was hilarious.
