Many take the view that he wasn't forceful enough, he tried too hard for too long to work with Republicans.

Doesn't he lack a majority too?

EDIT: Hmmm he does have a majority. Sounds like the hysteria by the republicans is overwhelming.

If he wins a second term, he needs to drop the bipartisan approach he has rather admirably stuck to his guns on thus far and ram through as many reforms as he can.

Just watched this. It's strawberry floating sickening that people are happy to let their neighbours suffer like that. They easily have enough money to go around and are instead using it chasing after internet pirates and tea towel terrorists :fp:

I really want to donate something to try and help. The family who eat rats

Yep, Americans are quite happy that the super rich are paying less tax than the cleaners they hire and many of them feel being poor is a lifestyle choice and that they can get out of if they just put some effort in.

He's got no chance as he doesn't have the money and he's not conservative enough. The only way to get chosen as a republican candidate is to act like a complete git and be as right wing as possible. The fact that candidates can now have outside backing with unlimited funding (the superpacks) as long as they don't communicate with them has made the power of money in US politics almost complete.
I really hope they go down in flames big style at the general election as even though I'm not a particular fan of Obama the Republicans are about the most vile mainstream party anywhere.

The second highest rated comment on that article:
These videos only confirm what a genuine stand up guy Ron Paul is. Sorry mainstream media.

It is happening. They also buy most of their medicines and see doctors in canada.

U.S is slowly crumbling. I need to watch this episode.

lol. You still believe in legit voting system. In iowa they said ballots didn't get counted because trucks were lost/late something along those lines.

The whole thing seems suspect. Ron paul is winning in every poll made but when comes to voting he is not.

Doesn't make sense.
