Which store generally give the most cash for games between Gamestop, HMV, GAME etc I'm trying to get rid of a ton of stuff and selling it online is proving really slow :(

I think HMV does better trade-in prices compared to GAME/Gamestation. Don't bother with Gamestation, they have become gooseberry fool with trade-ins.

Go with HMV, it won't be much as online but still decent enough.

CEX usually give the most for trade in but their range can be quite limited. HMV may give the best trade in values but their prices are usually quite high. Have you tried Goozex?

I wasn't even aware HMV did preowned games.

They call them Re|Play & usually mix them in with new releases/games on sale.

Sneaky bastards.

For the Irish among us, Smyths give you any one free game for any two titles you trade in.

Check the prices at HMV/CEX then go to Gamestation - if they offer less then get them to beat the trade in price. It's only £1 extra, but it's a handy way to get a bit more out of trades :)

Depends on manager I believe, our one (same as the 3 game stores we have) will tell you to go to where ever offered you more and won't match it

Ask HMV to write it down. The people in HMV write it on a bit of receipt roll, which has always been fine in the Norwich Gamestation.

Definitely depends on the stores, nottingham's is rubbish and always has huge queues.

Cheers guys I've got about 30 360 games to get rid of, guess I'll just throw them in a bag and take them around town and see what I get. HMV seems like it might be best as they sell them at a high price so hopefully they pay more for them. I got 235 euro for my Wii and launch 360 in Game earlier which I didn't think was too bad.

I'm thinking of getting Grid, tommorow, as a mini birthdat present for myself. How much do you think i'll get for Fable 2 and PGR4 (and possibly FNR3) at the likes of Game, HMV, etc?

Seriously, If you can be bothered, Sell them yourself. Ebay if your ok with fees or you can use trade sections in forums, such as this one, ntsc-uk, avf etc etc
