Remember cider doesn't last forever so check use bys as it could turn to gooseberry fool.

That White Hag Hibiscus Sour and their Lemon Sour were my summer drinks of choice for the 3 weeks of fine weather we got last year.

Final beer has now arrived as it turns out honest brew missed one in the box.

one more from Dual; as you can guess from the bottle this was very hoppy! almost like Leffe but less malty and more hoppy. very nice but i think it being a 250ml was the right choice as could be too much in a half or pint!


this was a gift from my parents. decent stout. slight aftertaste though which wasnt as pleasant, almost like a washing up liquid taste probably wouldnt buy again for that reason.

So this was my beer of choice tonight. Kind of a cross between something like a porter and a lager - that dark, stoutyness, but with a lager-type fizz. Tasted lovely, although I can't decide whether it was a better drink without the heaviness of a porter - maybe it was, for a school night!

Black lagers are good.

I would recommend trying Holy Cow Bell by Beavertown it is an India porter so is a Porter hopped like and ipa and it is outstanding.

It is, Black Betty is another awesome from Beaverton, is a Black IPA and is looovely.

I quite like mix up styles was well happy to see BrewDog Zeitgeist in Tesco which is a black lager.

This has really rich and deep flavour, not overly coffee which is good.

Not liking this one, it is too weak which leaves it feeling thin and watery whilst being over repowered in coffee flavour.

It really needs more booze to match the flavour or give it the right mouth feel.
