I'd like to make something epic, but I can't be bothered. Post your Olympic stuff here yes?

The medal table for cycling makes me happy. That is all.

I've just watched the 4x100m medley relay where Phelps won his eighth gold and there's no smiles from the americns when they finish the race. It's like they're machines or something.

They haven't got the right attitude, part of having a good Olympic spirit is being able to smile when you win.

I can't believe we're third in the medal table. That's Bronze, people!

We still have some really good medal prospects too. Christine Ohuruogo and Nicola Sanders in the 400m should both be fancied to take medals, and the Men's Cycling team look a dead cert to take gold tomorrow in the Team Pursuit!

And there's also the matter of whether a certain 200m record will be broken or not. :o

They were waiting for it to be confirmed, just in case of disqualification.

You should be even happier tomorrow then. The mens 4km pursuit final against the Danes should be a fast race, with luck maybe team GB will break the WR again.

It's a bit annoying that a lot of the events take place in the early hours of the morning, meaning I'll miss them. I woke up today to find 4 new golds had been won! What's the best way to catch up? Hunting down the clips on the BBC site? Waiting until tonight for the catch up on BBC1? Any other/better methods? x

And none of the teams behind us, except mother Russia, are particularly great at athletics. So even though we're terrible, we might stay third or fourth!

I use the BBC site.

You can watch live footage on there or just find the news story relating to the event you're looking for and there's usually an embedded video to watch.

Go on to the bbc sport site and look at the pages talking about the golds and there is invariably a vid clip on the page.

Just down the road for me, so i think i'll pop in and see whats what. They'll be loads of screens around central london as well ( like trafalgar square), so should be pretty easy to get into the spirit of things.

Is anyone else sick to death of this? Yesterday lunchtime I wanted to watch some Sky News but they decided they would have a full half hour of "OMG GREAT BRITAIN" instead of some real news so I didn't get it.

They have also removed Doctors from the afternoon BBC One schedule so that this can be on. I really can't wait for it to be over.

Er, the Olympics take priority over shoddy medical dramas.
