Still, I'm safe in the knowledge that my cholesterol count is 2.7 (and I'm a smoker) and that I'm 11 and a half stone.

Yeah, I'm gutted I don't like meat.

I'm a vegetarian, been one all my life innit.

Parents stopped eating meat before I was born so I was raised a vegie!

I've never had a problem with being fat or lacking vitamins as my mother is one of those people who runs tings when it comes to health.

That's not the reason I don't eat meat? My body's probably beyond repair.

You mean your dad stopped having sex with your mum during her third trimester?

No I mean they used to eat meat, but stopped, soon after I was born and raised as a vegetarian.

I'm a veggie. 8-)

In my experience its only vegetarians that are anti-meat that come out and try and force their habbits on everyone else. The majority that don't eat meat but couldn't really give a strawberry float what anyone else eats, like me, tend not to even bring the subject of vegetarianism up unless asked about it. A few of my mates had known me for a couple of years and didn't believe me when I said I was vegetarian.

I don't actually hate vegetarians, just the ones who seem to revel in the fact.

I've just had a new housemate move in who's a veggie. She seems ever so slightly preachy, but I'm sure it will change as soon as she realises we all like a good bit of meat in this house. 8-)

My diet is quite vegetarian at the moment anyway, in the aim of losing weight. I have a fair bit of tinned tuna in brine but other than that the only meat I have is of what I consider good quality.

Same here. I just don't appreciate being preached to by a bunch of overzealous food Nazi's. I know the risks of eating meat and the arguments about animal rights but the UK has a good record on farming practices and most if not all the meat I eat come from the UK.

I don’t know if it makes your brain smaller but being vegetarian definitely increases your chances of invading Poland.
