They freaked out a bit too much there, maybe.

Anyway, bit of a bomb at the end there. For some reason I wasn't that surprised by it though - I suppose since you never saw the professor they'd be someone who had already been in some episodes.

I loved the episode but the "Rehab" bit was stupid. I didn’t mind the "Long live the King" stuff though, even though it was similar.

I knew that the doctor woman was dodgy but didn’t realise she was with the creepy old man. What's the bet she will learn to love/sympathise with Mitchell before the end of the series and save them all?

What I really loved about the episode was that I could see my flat when they were on the Old Market roundabout. :D If I had realised they had been filming there, I would have gone outside and waved. :D

Yeah, nice idea, show their immaturity, but all seemed a little forced and not pulled off well at all, all 5 seconds of it.

I like series 1 better to be honest. It was more comical. Series 2 is alot more serious.

To Marcus though, I actually find it the other way round at the moment, Series 2 is dark in places but it's also making me smile a lot more than the first one. I think it's much better overall.

iPlayer doesn't have an archive does it?

I wouldn't mind getting into this but can't seem to find series 1.

It's been officially picked up for a third season.

But there's a big change (spoilers for end of S2)

It's moving to strawberry floating Cardiff.

I liked it in Bristol :(

I heard that the other day. There better be a strawberry floating good reason for moving it across the border and they better not be pretending it is set in Bristol (but taking advantage of cheaper filming in Cardiff).

I love the programme but only started watching it because of the Bristolian connection.

It looks like it will actually be set there, not just filmed there pretending to be Bristol.

I really enjoyed that as well. The programme is at its best when it is deadly serious and when it is funny. When it tries to make social points (the alcoholics anonymous style counselling for vampires for instance) it fails.

I wonder if Mitchell has gone permanently insane. We know the series is moving to Cardiff next time so maybe George and Annie flee there to get away from him? Although he did warn them to stay out of the cities, would Cardiff be top of the list if the vampires start attacking? Vampires usually have style so they might want to avoid Wales. ;)

So the next series of Torchwood is just going to be Barrowman screwing his way through the vampire, werewolf and ghost population of Cardiff?

Woah, just watched episode 7 and all I can say is :o

Best episode ever. It's great to see mitchell going back to his murderous ways. Almost as good as the "I am John Mitchell, and I've killed more people that you have met" speech.
