Are we talking someone so far in the rear that we cant really see their face?

I really enjoyed todays episode.

I would rag Lacey Turner quite happily, she seems a bit of a pocket rocket, oh and who can forget Lenora Crichlow

Thinking about Herrick's character after tonights episode... is he going to be a (possible future spoiler) zombie then? Being as you can't bring back a vamp that's been dusted/ripped apart? Well I assume that you can't anyway, but then again we are talking about supernatural scifi stuffs

But there's a big change (spoilers for end of S2)

It's moving to strawberry floating Cardiff.

I liked it in Bristol :(

I heard that the other day. There better be a strawberry floating good reason for moving it across the border and they better not be pretending it is set in Bristol (but taking advantage of cheaper filming in Cardiff).

I love the programme but only started watching it because of the Bristolian connection.

That's kind of an arbitrary reason to start watching a show. Surely looking at the backdrops and going "Ooh, I've been there! I've walked past that pub, etc" must get old pretty quickly. The location has no bearing on the kind of storylines you can expect, so why worry about it changing? Unless you see it as some kind of slight against England or something.

If that's something that gets you into a great TV show then who the strawberry float cares?

But once you've got into it and got to know and love the characters, dynamic, etc, then who the strawberry float cares if the location changes?

Because it's nice to have something that popular in your own town? I bet the residents of North Tawton would be sad if Jam And Jerusalem was suddenly filmed somewhere else.

All the shows I watch are set nowhere near where I'm from. The closest thing is Doctor Who/Torchwood, but I think they're gash - I'm not going to get into those just because I'm located near where they're shot...

No, that would be silly. But watching something you may not usually watch because it's set near where you live might lead to you getting into something you wouldn't have thought you normally would. And what's wrong with that?

Nothing really, but bitching because it changes location to a city that has less of a 'cool' reputation is a bit dumb.

Where did Moggy say Bristol was 'cool'?

Well, he seemed to take more exception with where the location had changed to more than the fact that the location had changed.

Either way, just get over it....

strawberry floating hell get over it!

When the pilot was first shown somebody told me that there was a really good new show set in Bristol. As strawberry float all is set in my home town (other than Skins) it perked my interest. I had no idea what Being Human was about at the time.

Since then I have grown to love the show but then heard they were moving the filming of it to Cardiff. Which I assumed at the time meant that they would be getting the filming cheaper but carry on saying that they were in Bristol which I would find annoying.

And I never said that Bristol was cooler than Cardiff. It is though and we have better dogging sites….

Really enjoying the new series so far :)

It'll be interesting to see where Herrick fits into this series and how much of an impact Robson Green will have on the main characters. Waiting 'til Wednesday before I watch ep.3 with my friend.

It was quite funny in parts. You could almost imagine how bad the smell was.

I thought the whole club thing worked well, especially as many of us have probably brought a Zombie home with us from a night out :fp:

I couldn't stand all those noises (squelch/bones) though, makes me feel sick :|
