This. Then it's Little King's Story. Then No More Heroes. Then Mario Galaxy, because no-one really seems to get the significance of it, but it's simultaneously touching, surprising and actually incredibly iconoclastic. And Rosalina >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Peach.

Wait really? I didn't think much of the ending of Bionic Commando, the game was alright but the ending, apart from the interesting lil story twist and spectacle of the final encounter, the actual ending was boring 'set up the sequel' pish, so are you joking or what?

However, No More Heroes /thread.

OoT and Link's Awakening also.

Splosion man had me laughing recently as well, good finale/ending.

I totally do this thing called StreetPass UK and it's real good like.

It's a joke, Yahtzee briefly ridiculed the ending in his review I think.

Certainly a good call, but Sands of Time deserves more recognition than just "having a good ending". It's a good story, told as a videogame. The whole thing works. The ending by itself doesn't mean anything without the rapport you've built up with the characters and the world though play.

Spoiler box the endings so I can read them, i've not played most of these games, won't play them in the future and want to know the endings if they're so great. I don't care enough to google for it.

Why is the Little King's Story ending considered good? As far as I am aware there is little story to the game. I am about three hours in, and loving it.

Anyone that hasn't said Valkyria Chronicles either hasn't played it or has played it and is simply a rubbish human being.

This thread deserves some Thief love

"There is no hunting like the hunting of a man. And those who've hunted armed men long enough, and like it, never really care for anything else thereafter."
