Forgot the Kingsman sequel was out.

Really enjoyed the first, thanks largely to Matthew Vaughan's stylish approach to filming. Love the single shot action sequences.

So many films I'm looking forward to...

Film of the year for me will almost inevitably be Star Wars 8, I'm too much of a Star Wars nerd that I won't automatically end up loving it.

Really looking forward to this years superhero films though, Lego Batman, Logan, Thor: Ragnarok, Spiderman and particularly Guardians 2. I'm also clinging onto some hope that the Power Rangers movie might be good even though deep down I know it's probably going to be shite.

Can't wait for Cult of Chucky and I love the Insidious franchise so I'm hoping Insidious 4 will match up to the previous films in the series.

Really 'Best Film 2017', not the one you are most looking forward to, but what is going to be the best film? Its a ludicrous question to be asking in January.

Having seen the long IMAX preview of Dunkirk however, I think that's as likely as any film I know is coming out in 2017 to be the best. Really does look (and sound) stunning in IMAX.

The other trailer I've seen for a film a number of times at the cinema that looks really good is Logan...but I just can't get my hopes up for it, I'm pretty much convinced that it'll end up that everything good in the movie is in the trailer.

Yeah, I'm asking people what they think the best film will be how hard is that to understand?
Are you really unable to understand the concept of prediction as it's hardly rocket science.

I can predict that World War Z 2 will continue to have strawberry float all to do with the book it's named after and be gooseberry fool again for example and I'm pretty confident I'm going to be right.

I didn't say I didn't understand the concept, I said I thought it was a ludicrous question.

In fact, its both an odd way to title the topic when you are asking for a prediction and just a strange thing to be asking in general.

You don't see any Best Game 2017 topics floating around do you, most anticipated perhaps, but not best. Anyway, its irrelevant really what I think about it.

The best film of 2017 will be Hugo: The Movie.

Most people will be annoyed by it and think it is nothing but a endless rant about logic by a robotic personality, but to some of us it will be a hilarious look at a man that just doesn't understand the concept of normal conversation.

Isn't Godzilla about 50 times the size of Kong?

I'd say 50 times is a but much but going from memory of the films Godzilla was slightly taller than the tallest skyscraper (the films I'm thinking of are the original Japanese films so the buildings wouldn't have been super tall) whereas Kong was about 30 feet tall. Godzilla also has the advantage of atomic breath which I'm pretty sure Kong will find hard to counter unless he can find something amazing to throw.

Godzilla should win that match-up quite handily that's before he even bothers to tag team in Godzuki to kick him while he's down for the LOL's.

The new Kong movie is upping his size in preparation for him going up against Godzilla in a future movie.

Wonder Woman's enterance's and her theme tune may be the only good thing about BvS. Thought the trailer for her film looked good too but there's a lot of negative rumours surrounding it unfortunately.

Yes agreed. I'm assuming the Kong plans happened after the first Godzilla was finished as they wouldn't have made him so big otherwise.

Kong is set in the Vietnam War era. So he has a good few decades to grow. I'd imagine the film will end with either him exposed to nuclear material, described as still young, or my personal choice..... Killed and in the final moments his aged and much bigger father turns up for a bloody revenge.
