I thought it may be interesting to see what people think will be the best film released this year. I'm not talking about which film will technically be best or sweep the Oscars just the film you think you will most enjoy.

For me the choice is pretty simple with The Dark Tower but a couple of others may sneak into contention with Resident Evil: The final chapter (I like them :shifty: ) and the so gooseberry fool it may be amazing sounding The Belko Experiment.

As well as Dark Tower, I'm super excited about IT. I really hope they make it dark and scary, like it needs to be.

Kong looks pretty strawberry floating good to me. It's just a shame they've revealed what he looks like in the trailer. Should have saved it.

Providing they can live up to the original, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

But there is a lot I am excited for this year. Star Wars, new cloverfield movie, Lego Batman, Bladerunner...

I'm hoping it's between The Death of Stalin, Star Wars, and Lego Batman. At least one will be a disappointment!

I am not sure about the Dark Tower or IT. I am hoping they will both be great, but King adaptations have a patchy history and I don't want to overhype them.

GoTG Vol. 2 is the one I am most looking forward to. I loved the first one and the trailer for the second looks great.

It under the previous director, maybe. But I'm not too happy or confident with the changes made.

My vote goes to Star Wars.

I'm really looking forward to Logan, Trainspotting 2,, Bladerunner, John Wick 2 and Star Wars of course. Gonna be a great year, I think.

I am dreading Trainspotting 2. I love the original so much that the sequel is guaranteed to be a disappointment to me.

I think there are a few surprises films this year and I would say I am looking forward to see:

Star Wars VIII
John Wick 2
Fate 8 (Fast & Furious 8)
Alien: Covenant
Blade Runner 2049

I may miss a few films though as I can't remember them all.

I'll guess The Circle with Tom Hanks, Emma Watson, Karen Gillan & John Boyega; Tom Hanks is always decent and lets hope Emma and Karen have some intimate scenes together

Star Wars & GoTG 2 are the ones I'm most looking forward to though.

Star Wars is the obvious choice for me but I can see GotG 2 or Lego Batman giving it a run for its money.

Genuine best film is likely going to be something we're unaware of yet. Something big will debut at the likes of Sundance, SXSW or Cannes early in the year and get a release nearer the end and will blow our collective dicks off.
