I like LotR, but there’s no way all 3 of them deserve to have gotten this far. If the LotR Defence Force can keep voting out anything to save their precious hobbits then they’re the only films I’m going to be voting for. :capnscotty:

The only reason I’m voting to save them is because of the silly campaign to vote them out that’s been going on for ages now. It’s fair enough if people genuinely don’t like them, but it’s clear some have been trolling.

The people thinking it’s funny to vote LoTR are responsible for some great movies being voted out. ;)

The people defending LoTR have been responsible for an equal number of great movies being voted out! (As well as being responsible for keeping 3 gooseberry fool movies in ;) )

Currently:
RotK - 8
12 angry men - 7

Can’t believe the best film in the LotR series is going out now :fp:

If a LotR should be going out at this stage it’s Two Towers. But even then there are more deserving films to go out at this stage, Groundhog Day being a prime example

At the expense of 12 Angry Men, one of the most powerful films ever made? Yeah I don't think so. As a choice between the two.

Return of the King

Next time don't jump on the bandwagon too early, I'm pretty sure if the people trying to save Return of the King had picked Psycho instead of 12 Angry Men to gang up on, RotK would be living to fight another day.

Though I guess it isn't quite over yet.

I've resisted partaking in these tactical voting antics up until this point. However, as much as I like ROTK, it would be a grave injustice for it to be spared from elimination at the expense of 12 Angry Men.

I, therefore, would like to change my vote to Return of the King.

I always thought the majority of fans felt Fellowship was the best.

Ridiculous decision to bin RotK this early. Frankly it's a low point in the history of the forum.
