Speed's top ten material.

Pop quiz hotshot, which film on this list really doesn't deserve to be there anymore?

Hint: it's Speed. ;)

Nah, all joking aside there's easily ten or fifteen films that can go before Speed. It's probably one of the three or four best examples of a pure action film. The absolute peak of the genre.

I'm gonna say that these are the films we should be concentrating on getting out of here now. The first wave of films that should never have been on the list is now more or less completed - it's time to get through the next wave of films that are great, but not top tier. And the Life of Brian, which I hate.

Revenant, Finding Nemo, Mulholland Drive and Bourne next. :shifty:

Nemo, Dory and the Cars films are among the weakest of Pixar’s output.

Finding Nemo yes, Revenant less so. Especially when this lot still remain:

43. Gremlins
48. Spirited Away
59. Ghostbusters
67. Toy Story
69. Goldfinger
77. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
78. Mulholland Drive
85. Home Alone
91. 12 Monkeys
92. Blazing Saddles
93. Monty Python's Life of Brian
94. District 9
95. Speed
98. Finding Nemo

I actually like most of those too, but they are all bottom tier films out of those that remain (and some actually not all that good (48, 93, 98)).

Revenant is worse than every one of those films except Life of Brian IMO. Found it incredibly dull. Also Spirited Away is probably in my all time top ten.

Finding Nemo is an outstanding film, people thinking that should go before some of the other tripe that is left clearly have no soul.
