My favourite was the "This is Cool" Saturn, I still have it and the JVC Saturn which has a different boot up.

I have a few different Saturns still.

Saturn sold just five million didn't it? You might have been its main customer Rik.

Apparently the saturn only sold around 10 million units. Europe and USA must have hated it.

Actually it was initially popular, I believe. Sold a lot of units early.

Quickly ran into a problem of support, though. Sony had the advantage of a clean record with only one console to support & had some amazing western devs onboard. SEGA were coming off the back of the MegaCD & 32X which kind of confused their market offerings.

Panasonic Q by far. Most console special editions are just tacky and seem to age worse than the original design. I also liked the Q because it added a feature that should have been there to start on the Gamecube, a DVD player!

I think the Samsung Saturn was Korean only? Never got that one. I have both versions of the JVC Saturn and the Hitachi one though.

That's the three I've got, the Hitachi one came with the Video CD decoder.

Thankfully my wife doesn't ever asked the question. Ever.

It sort of came up when I moved all her clothes into one cupboard so I could store my Jaguar, Snes & N64 games in the built in wardrobes

It looks horrible, but it makes cool noises.
