I listened to some Jeremy Soule The Elder Scrolls music the other day on Spotify and it's so weird how hearing it bought back memories of travelling through Oblivion and Skyrim. I platinumed the latter on PS3 but my enjoyment was greatly impacted by the loading screens. I'd still happily go back into that game world but I wish there was also Oblivion or Morrowind which I haven't played. But NO building construction stuff!

I skimmed through some of that but I like the format! Current affairs talk whilst in a game lobby.

Quite looking forward to seeing Prey 2. I really liked the setting and visuals from the previous demo, but the mechanics looked awful.

Why not? The Elder Scrolls games have plenty of differing mechanics and things to do that you can just ignore if you're not interested in them. Settlement creation a la Fallout 4 would mean something welcomed by those who liked it, and something that can be ignored by those who didn't.

Much like how I have never once seriously used magic, alchemy or enchanting in Oblivion/Skyrim.

Unless its integral to the experience i feel construction in a game like skyrim would be useless. I would much rather bethesda get this running at 60fps. After playing fallout 4, which resembled an up resed ps3 game, my expectations are low!

What was wrong with Skyrim on Console?

Not much really. I put 100+ hours into it on the 360 so I have zero interest in playing it again.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

No snow trolls with massive cocks chasing you over the place. That's what's wrong with console Skyrim.

360 version was acceptable if you didn't mind typical console performance, but wasn't the PS3 version almost unplayable on release due to glitches and stuff? Maybe Eighthours was referring to that.

I'll be passing on this remaster. Ditto EV 2. Really looking forward to another Wolfenstein though, so I hope that gets announced as a late 2016/early 2017 release.

That PS3 version was shocking! I did manage to complete the main storyline, so it wasn't all bad.

Yup. I was told similar by a friend who played it a long while after it was released.

Never had any problems on PS3. On launch it apparently had serious performance issues but they only became apparent once your save file reached a certain size. By the time my save was approaching those levels it had already been patched.

Hey guys.

I'll be doing some E3 Post-Mortem podcasty type things for the Youtube channel.

I REALLY need people for the bethesda one, which I'll be recording at 12 noon on Monday.

If anyone is interested in taking part check out the thread and let me know. Cheers guys.

What time is this on at, 2am?

Tempted to go to bed and try and get a few hours sleep and get up to watch it.

Bethesda's conference was pretty great last year, hopefully they'll do a decent job of it again.

Prey 2 looks pretty outdated graphically; it's long development is definitely showing. Hopefully it gets a serious facelift.
