Great episode.

Mike and the bug was brilliant, I'd imagine it's going to lead him to a certain chicken restaurant...

Chuck is such an arsehole. I wonder who he is planning to send the tape to? Kim?

I loved Jimmy in the flashforward. So desperate to lie low, but just couldn't resist his Saul side coming through.

Great episode. Just love the way they shoot this show, the music and everything. Same as breaking bad. I always feel bad for Jimmy, Chuck is such a bitch to him.

Great start. Looks as gorgeous as ever (loved that shot with the lightning in the background).

I do hope we get a few more flash forwards this season, one per year is just too much of a tease.

Once the show has caught up with Breaking Bad, I wonder if they will move the series forward to the present day (or whenever the hell the Cinnabon stuff is set) and continue making episodes set solely post BB, or whether something is going to happen there to end it. There must still be a hell of a lot of people after Saul, from the police/DEA to the cartels, will one of them find him at that mall?

Loved it. :toot:

Like the way the cinnabon cooking at the start aped the classic breaking bad cooking scenes. Seemed like a black and white take on crystal blue persuasion. Saul collapsing, let's hope it's not cancer :dread:.

Mike  I actually said out loud, "oh you clever bastard" when he ran the battery down. Can't take it out or they'll twig so drain that strawberry floater.

Now gimme dat fried chicken

I did laugh that the guy sent to check on the bug didn’t have a spare battery on him and so had to take it away. ;)

Plus it should have been Huell that came to take it away. Poor Huell.

He straight swapped it for another, Mike took the new one out and put it on the wall before he drove off.

Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought it went like this:

>Mike found the bug
>Mike ran down the battery of the original bug in his kitchen to get the "bad guys" to come and check on it
>Mike put his own bug in the fuel cap so that he could track them if they took it away
>They came, took the bug away and Mike is now tracking the guy using Mike's bug
>???
>Profit

Runs the battery down, guy sees it's losing signal.
Mike swaps fresh one in to the cap
Guy comes and takes fresh Mike tracker thinking it's the dead one
Puts replacement one in mike's car, leaves with what he thinks is the dead one, but is Mike's live tracker
Mike takes out the one that was just installed and follows

So pretty similar to what I thought and Mike was lucky the guy didn't just stick another AA in there.

The guy that plays Huell has lost a lot of weight and looks completely different these days. It would be kinda funny if he did show up and so it turns out that meeting Saul made him get really fat.

That could work, Saul drives him so insane that he has to constantly eat to comfort himself. Although it might mean that the poor sod has to put all the weight back on as we get closer to the Breaking Bad timeline.

Taking apart the cap, opening up the tracker and replacing the battery would be a lot slower than just switching caps. Makes perfect sense that they would do the latter (and that Mike would expect them to do the latter).

Mike was shown taking out the new tracker and leaving it by his wall before setting off in pursuit so that it would look like he was still at home.

I am not sure it is possible to have a bad episode of this show, but that was wonderful.

Gus.

3x02- I spent the entirety of the Los Pollos Hermanos scene scanning the background looking for Gus. The return of the king. 8-)

Chuck remains awful.
