Who was the woman Mike met in the uncomfortable scene in the cars? I assume his daughter but dont remember if she actually featured in BB (and was rather just implied).

That's who I assumed too. I take it the end was because he broke a restraining order or something?

Average episode I thought.

"long way from home" implied to me that the end was unrelated to following his maybedaughter. Mike used to be a cop right? No idea in which state or why he left though.

Ah that could be it yeah. He was a cop in Philadelphia if I recall. Think that's even mentioned in BCS

Because of the way that ended I'm guessing mike is going to be reactivated in an under cover capacity to investigate drug rings and will meet Gus that way.

That's more interesting than what I assumed:Mike is in trouble and will need Saul's help.

Either way though, looks like we're finally starting to get a glimpse of where this show is "going".

1x06- Great performance by Jonathan Banks in this episode. You get the feeling it was only written because they wanted Banks to win an emmy.

I think they just know how popular Mike is and backstory was needed if he's going to be a main character. Fantastic episode.

Eh! I thought Episode 5 was good. It show another side of Jimmy McGill's character, the loyal brother.

My mates thought this "disease" suffered by Chuck was made up in a sense for the TV series, but I pointed out that it's pretty much a real psychological disease.

Great episode, kind of reminded me of one of the better Lost episodes where you'd get a whole flashback dedicated to a relatively minor character that would end up becoming a favourite.

I wonder if that breaking bad tumblr is up and running again becuase of this

That was great and added a lot of depth to Mike's character. It will be interesting watching Breaking Bad again after this show has finished.

I also loved the method of breaking into the car, I hadn't seen that before.

Haven't seen it yet but I'm guessing it gets a bit dark and grittier as in breaking bad style, if you guys check out some interviews on YouTube though from a few weeks ago he said it was going to get pretty ugly and interesting in places because of his character Mike.

That was an amazing episode. Truly.

The quality of the show has been very constant, and that's very good (and rare) for a spin off show.

Great episode, good seeing this personal side to Mike. I don't know if we need to spoiler Breaking Bad stuff but just in caseI actually felt really sad for him when he was shot by Walter White and he sat dying looking at that river, then whatever disrespect White did to dispose of his body.I like the supreme confidence the programme makers have in what they're making. The series has it's own slow pace and there is no need to razzmatazz you, it does it's thing in it's own time.
