Oh well. Never understood the fuss around the first one anyway.

I'd forgotten it had even been announced.

I would have liked a sequel but I'm not too fussed they cancelled it at this point. Maybe someday.

Who cares Dead Rising did the photographer gimmick with more emotion and maturity

Beyond Good & Evil had a good story with good characters, but it was a pretty poor game. I seem to recall it was one of those games I was determined to complete so I could slag it off with impunity. Dreadful stealth sections and the final boss was truly awful. I seem to recall I liked the the photography elements though.

I look forward to its revival at Sony's E3 conference in 2019 along with a remake of Resident Evil 2.

Ancel is independent now so we wouldn't have got the game he wanted. Hopefully WiLD is a success for Sony and they then fund BG&E2 with Ancel.

I really hope it's an NX exclusive. I'll get to play it and the fallout will be strawberry floating hilarious to watch unfold. It's a win-win.

I think the first one was a bit over hyped and people view it rose tinted goggles. I played the HD port a year or so ago on PS3 and thought it had aged very poorly.
