Breath of the Wild no doubt, Horizon looks interesting but my previous experience of Guerilla's games are of games that look beautiful but aren't particularly great to play. I hope this bucks that trend but I don't think it will. I've yet to play any of the other games in the Mass Effect series so ask me again about that one in 10 years or so.

Bloody excited for Thimbleweed Park though, didn't know that was out this month

I'm looking forward to Andromeda the most, but that's probably no surprise to anyone who's been into a Mass Effect thread. They've done a shoddy job of marketing it so I haven't felt the same level of excitement I had for the trilogy sequels, and most people seem to be really down on it when anything gets shown, but I think it'll end up being pretty good.

NieR: Automata is up there too. I'm waiting for the PC release myself but everything I have seen of that game so far looks great.

Breath of the Wild also looks amazing but I've never played a 3D Zelda game, so the usual hype that comes with a new entry doesn't really affect me. I'll be playing through the older games first, which will also leave enough time to determine whether it's worth waiting to play it on the Switch if I eventually get one with Mario Odyssey next Christmas.

Horizon: Zero Dawn looks cool but I have a gut feeling that it's not going to come anywhere close to matching the expectations people have for it.

No. It'll be on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

I'm only assuming it's this month. It's apparently ready. Steam page went up today. We should know release date soon (it was ear-marked as Feb 17 for a while so can't be long!).

I had noticed lots of articles about it popping up last few weeks so thought it'd be soon, not sure when I'll have time to play it given I'm expecting Breath of the Wild to consume most of my gaming time but I'm excited all the same. With that and Full Throttle Remastered on the way it looks a good year for classic adventure game fans!

Stupid poll.

Biggest game is clearly going to be 1-2 Switch.

If I could choose, it would be Zelda for sure. But as I don't own a Wii U and I'm not getting a Switch, it's Horizon.

I think what they've shown looks amazing, I just hope it delivers.

The fact that nobody has even mentioned Torment: Tides of Numenera makes me sad.

It's the Thematic successor to Planescape Torment which is on many peoples top 10 list for best RPG of all time.

But Xbox has the best pixels so that makes up for it.

I would argue that many people have neither played or even heard of the game.

Plus you know, the topic title rules it out...its coming out in February.

HSH, this is totally off-topic, but - dude! - you need an avatar image. That huge question mark makes you seem like an imposter whereas you're a long-established GRcadian :toot: . You could surprise us by changing things up with a whole new image :D .

Ive voted ME.

I havent heard of that PS game, dont have a PS anyway, looks like no mans sky.

I really want the new zelda game but is £350 justified? Nintendo will probably drop the price by £100 and announce Switch+ 6 months down the line. I'll wait for that.
