Pretty quick question for you lot:

Can anyone give me a list of current or due-for-release RPGs that are PC-only? They also have to be 2D only, preferably in the anime/pokemon style.

Basically any other RPGs that are PC-only that look like this:

Any help would be much appreciated, it's for my uni games project but I'm struggling to find anything.

Cheers

Hm, I wonder if RPG Maker is still knocking about. People used to make great RPG's using that little thing.

Yeah I'm using that for my project, but I have to research any "competition" (because you know, my gooseberry fool attempts will be fighting it out with AAA releases  :fp: )

I'm using RPG Maker VX btw, it's pretty user friendly.

Ooh, Dink Smallwood, of course.

Maybe Septerra Core over on Good Old Games, as well, which uses 2D. prerendered graphics.

The gist I'm getting from this is that there actually aren't that many well-known ones out there at all, none that you pay for at least? I know there are plenty of crappy free ones out there but I'm ignoring them for my project

In a way that's not a bad thing, actually helps me with my project.

Cheers guys
