YouTube star Logan Paul apologises for CryptoZoo project failure

YouTuber Logan Paul has apologised to fans who lost money after investing in his cryptocurrency game, CryptoZoo.

The 27-year-old encouraged people to buy cryptocurrency collectables for what he called a "really fun game that makes you money".

But more than a year after its launch, no game has materialised and Paul has apparently abandoned the project.

One 34-year-old US man told BBC News he had spent $40,000 (£33,000) on NFT eggs after hearing Impaulsive.
"At first, we all thought the project was experiencing a few hiccups - but then the way Logan dragged everyone along and then just abandoned it with no words is just wrong," he said.
"Now, it seems to me that Logan is only now trying to make amends after the Coffeezilla videos.
"I don't want a refund - I'd like to see the project completed and Logan do what he said at the very beginning.
"I don't think it will ever be as big as it could have been - but I think it's important that 'founders' do what they promised investors."

I just moved across networks using SushiSwap and the Arbitrum Network and the whole thing was an absolute hassle and a stress.

Compare these to just using something like Coinbase even with fees involved it’s done there and then. I’m not worrying I’ve got the address wrong or mistyped, I’m not hunting down contracts to add into Metamask, not having to be worried I might be swapping for a scam coin (Sushi seems full of them).

As someone who has BTC and some other coins, it this is the future it’s terrible. Never have such fear or stress with my bank app either

After sitting on a small amount of Cardano for a couple of years whilst it dropped to 20% of purchased value, it seems something interesting might be happening to it. Up above £0.50 for the first time in an age with a few wildly optimistic articles suggesting it could go above $10 next year. If be happy to get above the £1.40 level I bought at.

Ok, the market has suddenly become very bullish. My Ethereum value has doubled in a month.
