The Paperwhite is pretty much the perfect Ereader and a fantastic gift idea.
The only thing they could add is colour and if that means they have to whack the price up I'd say it's not worth it as the mono version is perfectly fine for a reading device.

I'm on the hunt for a laptop for the gf, looking for an SSD, i5 and 8gb ram for £400.

Found one at Ebuyer for £450 but the screen was apparently a bit gooseberry fool, basically holding out for a pre-xmas miracle.

Extra 20% off Amazon warehouse stuff today. Picked up a cheap notebook for one of the kids, if it looks tatty then I'll send it back but seemed a good price at £160 instead of £250 new.
