My friend accused me of being racist because I dont like any R'n'B, Hip Hop or other urban music. Can you lot think of any good black music? I like Bob Marley, but cant think of too many others

Black culture used to make a lot of awesome music, but now it's all gone rubbish. Gangsta rap? R&B? What is this sh*t? If there are any young black musicians listening I urge them to do what they can to get things back on course.

I don't think it's racist to say you don't like any black music, but perhaps a little naive. There's tons of fantastic black music, I don't see why you should dismiss any music because of the artists race.

That very same accusation from friends of writers on DiS and Pitchfork has driven said writers to give every new Hip-Hop or rap album a very high rating in a desperate over-reaction, despite the fact that most of them are absolute gash.
