I knew about the third season but not the 10 episodes instead of 8. Good times. :D

Good episode, looks like next week could be a corker.

Hopefully. My only real complaint about this show is that they quite often tease you with some massive cliffhanger then take a swerve at the start of the next episode.

But again, another awesome episode.

Also lets hope this new forum format results in some more people taking notice of the show.

Good, I was wondering when this documentary show about the real, actually happened, exploits of Flint and Silver would be shared with this country :slol:

Another scripted show Vikings (which starts season 2 this Tuesday) has been a big hit for them so this is in a similar vein.

Very good episode this week.

Surprise at Barlow being shot, her story was pretty much over anyway but I'll miss her cleavage. Should be an interesting finale. The pirates rescuing Flint and maybe the adventures of Rackham & co. Eleanor seems to be stranded so maybe that will be left for next season.

I'm catching up with you guys, on S2E06.

Fantastic series, it really does deserve more attention.

S02E09
I wasn't entirely surprised at Miranda dying. I had a feeling she wouldn't be heading back to the ship, but the way she just suddenly got shot was surprising. Flint is understandably a bit strawberry floated off by that.

So it looks like the plan to legitimise Nassau is dead.

Good.
More piratey fun to come.

I think it's clear that next week is going to focus on rescuing Flint (I'd be very surprised if Lord Ash isn't killed in a horrendously violent fashion) and to a lesser extent Jack's crew heading for the Gold.

I'd be very surprised if we see Eleanor again before season 3. Which is good as she's never been a favourite character of mine.

It's shaping up to be a good finale. Then the year long wait begins again. :dread:

Can't believe they killed Randall :(

Fun bit of trivia:
Director T.J. Scott claimed that Lawrence Joffe, the actor who plays Randall, was the only actor on the set who stayed in character in between takes.

Nice

Nice end to the season.
I must say I didn't expect Jack to come back with the gold at this point. I thought that would be next season, and at best we'd see them arriving at the island to get the gold.

Silver is due his peg leg it would seem. 8-)

Also glad that it seems Mcgraw is going to go full on pirate now. No hiding behind reconcilliation or anything, just finally sinking completely into being Flint.

Next season can't come soon enough. :datass:

Great finale, such a fantastic series this is turning into.

Rackham and Anne Bonny best characters for me

Amazing stuff. Easily one of my favourite shows. Love that it's getting renewed well in advance.
