Glad someone is still watching this other than me.

Yeah it was a good one. Rackham's a lucky git. :D

Little bit slower than the first two, but that's cool. Needed to stop and take a breath I think.

Seriously, more people need to watch this! Its gone form guilty pleasure to just flat out awesome TV :D

Yeah. I can understand that people were put off with season 1, especially that nothing happens for about 4 episodes after the pilot, but it's came back on top form. Really deserves far more attention.

S02E05 - shock gay twist, episode started with a threesome and almost ended with a alternative threesome but then another cliffhanger.

Yeah it was a strange turn for it to take.
I'm most interested to see what Billy is up to. He's clearly got issues with Flint that need to be resolved. Though my main question is how he got back to Nassau and why whoever had him on the beach in the 2nd episode let him go.

Wonder what Anne is gonna do now? I can see her perhaps going back to Vane. Either that or somehow royally strawberry floating over Jack and Max.

But most of all how is the fight between Flint and Vane going to be resolved? They aren't going to kill either of them off, not at this point anyway, so something has to stop it.

Hello chaps - Another Black Sails enthusiast here :shifty: End of S02E05 genuinely startled me which is unusual for a TV show.

:D
There's three of us now!

Yeah the last episode had some good development going on. Billy is the wildcard now though. No idea where it's going to take things. 8-)

EDIT: 4 actually. Forgot about Brer.

Pfft. I was watching Black Sails before it was cool. 8-)

This season has been superb so far. The first was good too, but felt like it was treading water for a while. The second hasn't really let up since it started, and Flint's development in particular has been really engrossing.

I think most of us have been with it from the start. I remember the first episode leaking online and watching it. Couldn't wait for the full series. :D

But yeah this season has been much better paced than the first. The first just dragged on in the middle for ages until it changed gear for the last 3 episodes or so. Not really had that problem at all so far. The flashbacks are a nice way to take the action away from the island so we don't get fed up looking at it. The scenes out at sea clearly cost a lot to film so it's not a surprise we don't get too many of them. But all in all it's one of my favourite shows right now. It's one of those ones I look forward to watching each week.

Another good episode. Still a relatively "talky" one but good nonetheless.

I was glad to see some resolution to Billy's reappearance. I'd wondered how he got away and figured that there was more to his story than just escaping.
Silver as always delights and it looks like there's going to be some conflict with Flint coming up. He didn't look entirely convinced that Flint is his best bet anymore.
And then there's Jack. strawberry floating awesome to see him make something of his first haul.

Poor Vane. He looked so sad that she strawberry floated him over. :(
Though I'm guessing the people on the road at the end are his men ready to exact a bloody, messy revenge.

Silver as usual was excellent. Sneaky, manipulative strawberry floater. 8-)

Still love it. Is next week the last episode?

I knew about the third season but not the 10 episodes instead of 8. Good times. :D

Hopefully. My only real complaint about this show is that they quite often tease you with some massive cliffhanger then take a swerve at the start of the next episode.

But again, another awesome episode.

Also lets hope this new forum format results in some more people taking notice of the show.

Good, I was wondering when this documentary show about the real, actually happened, exploits of Flint and Silver would be shared with this country :slol:

Another scripted show Vikings (which starts season 2 this Tuesday) has been a big hit for them so this is in a similar vein.

Very good episode this week.

Surprise at Barlow being shot, her story was pretty much over anyway but I'll miss her cleavage. Should be an interesting finale. The pirates rescuing Flint and maybe the adventures of Rackham & co. Eleanor seems to be stranded so maybe that will be left for next season.

I'm catching up with you guys, on S2E06.

Fantastic series, it really does deserve more attention.
