Those pictures remind me of "All Ghillied Up" from CoD4. Maybe they used pictures of Chernobyl when designing the level because they do look similar in a weird way.

Did they place the hotels and buildings or perhaps the radioactive waste? I can't imagine anything they could place would be worth the time or effort, it's the abandoned feeling you get when you go there that is the experience, a few "placed" newspapers or posters isn't going to have any effect on it. And it isn't like it's a very tourist-y location at the best of times.

Stunning stuff, BLH. I didn't actually know they did tours of Chernobyl and it's definitely something I wouldn't mind checking out. Pompei is a stunning sight but the amount of tourists means you don't get the same sense of awe that a place like Chernobyl would.

Well yeah i know TAP but i was quite intrigued by the fact that a lot of stuff is very much well intact, while tougher things are wrecked to hell.

Jaxley, don't forget that it wasn't a massive explosion as such, but just more the release of a vast amount of radiation that caused the devastation. A silent killer.
