Right, I wasn't very good at Devil May Cry, but I enjoyed God of War. Should I just forget about this? Didn't play either of the DS games on PS3.

It doesn't play like either those games. It basically beats you into submission saying 'you know those games you've been playing for the past 10 years? Well, you've been playing them on 'pussy' level. This is a real game'. You will die alot until you play the game it wants you to play like.

Do not play this like DMC and GOW.

Don't go hacking mindlessly at enemies right off the bat and you'll be okay. Most of the time. Maybe.
