No shields, no kicking and no running jump (I think) but apart from that it feels just like a Souls game aside from the obvious stuff like the slightly different combat and health mechanics. The area in the demo is very reminiscent of Undead Burg in terms of the structure and the various shortcuts. It's got a real gothic atmosphere too.

Dark Spuls, undead Stoke :dread:

I just got an email from Sony saying I've been accepted onto the Beta for this. :shifty:

Not sure my 'gaming skills' are really suited to this kind of game...

Are Beta codes tied to PSN accounts or can they be passed on?

Apparently someone connected to either From or Japan Studio has trotted out the 30fps is best for action games line when asked what fps Bloodborne would be :fp:

Producers should be gagged from saying anything.

I'd rather they delay it. if it means a better game.

Yup. Look at Driveclu...

No, but seriously. It's a month late. Hardly a disaster and there's still The Order 1886 for February.

I think this is more to do with The Order having zero hype, why not spend a bit more time polishing the diamond in your crown if you have another game ready to go....it might not be gooseberry fool.....it'll be gooseberry fool (The Order that is).

Thought that maybe the response and though it was buggered at launch (still is by all accounts), could you imagine the state of it if it had made its original release

It would have probably bricked every PS4 out there. Even ones belonging to people who hadn't bought the game.

Everyone knows the order is going to be gooseberry fool anyway so delay that.

Jumping the gun a bit what with the whole five minutes worth of gameplay we've seen. If that.

I'm hoping worst case scenario for The Order is Gears of War in Victorian England.

If the whole materials reacting to ammo type thing is legit then it could be a lot of fun.
