Everything has been done, I now stand with 3 bosses in front of me.

Logaris :dread:
Amagda whatsherface
The one reborn.

I shall battle these tomorrow. My guy is now ridiculously over powered for normal encounters...a normal swing of r1 takes away most health. Think my axe is at +8/9 I haven focused on anything other than strength and health.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Frankly anyone who spoils this game by playing through it with a guide doesn't deserve nice things.mi don't care if that makes me sound like an elitist twat, the thing is all about the mystery, the fear of the unknown, the "da fuk is that?!!" moments, the relief of finally finding a shortcut.

It'd be so gooseberry fool knowing what's around the corner all the time. It's even got built in hints from other players. Fair play on the artwork thing though.

What use is it to release a guide 1 month after launch for a game that's one of the hardest of the year?! :fp: :fp: Muppets.

Obviously many people want the guide as an aid to the game but I bought it because of the art. I knew I wouldn't use the guide to help me with the game, that's what game wikis and other websites are for.

Also I read the first delay was because From/Sony wanted to add in MP details or some such.

Lost interest now tbh. Need to sell off my DS2 guide of theirs that's woefully out of date (along with my official GTA V guide too). I'll put that money to better use elsewhere.

I only use guides for bosses or if I am desperately lost. In both cases I will have been going round in circles for hours, trying to figure it out for myself before I use a guide. (I mean if I used guides for everything then there's no strawberry floating way I'd have sent that twat to the chapel :x :fp: I think I'm gonna replay the game up to that point just so I can kick his arse at the first given opportunity).
Regarding messages, I find them so useful that I chose not to play the game when the servers were down yesterday. Not only are they helpful but playing without messages and phantoms (and even the lack of risk of being invaded) makes for a very lonely experience. The number of times a phantom has made me jump, though. :x

Phantoms? Not seen one of them, unless you mean hunters?

I love the blood stains and messages around, makes me feel like there's others out the fighting the same fight as me. When my Xbox live expired dark souls was a very lonely experience, and when they had a free live weekend it was glorious seeing all the note marks about.

Ghosts of other players you see running about. Every session I will get one, at least one, that runs into my view off screen and I will take a swing at it thinking it's a strawberry floating enemy mob.

Don't think I'll bother with NG+. At least not for a while. There are too many games to play in life. :(

I made brilliant one in the Hunter's Dream: I logged on and found myself keeling over by the locked gate.

So, last boss I did was ROM.
I can now go to:
Gaol, Castle Cainhurst, unseen village or Nightmare Frontier

Any advice as to where to go that's logical for my progression?

1, 2 and 4 are optional. UV = main story progress. 1 is the easiest of the lot. Of the remaining, 4 has the easier boss but is a pain in the arse to get to. 2, once you are inside, has easier enemies but a challenging boss. I would definitely try my hand at 1 plus another and then go to UV.

As we confirmed previously, the 1.03 update seeks to reduce certain load times in addition to performance optimisations. The patch also resolves an issue that resulted in abnormal game behavior after many continuous hours of play. Additional fixes will be included as well.

The team is currently working towards a global release of the 1.03 patch before the end of the month. We will try to provide more specific timing as soon as we are able.

Too late for day 1ers. Again, never buying a From game on launch again.

I just beat the last boss [is]right after killing the one before[/is] I used *all* my 2 remaining Vials on it.

Gonna give a chalice dungeon a bash and then that's me done with this amazing game.

*trembles*

Y'know...Unseen Village can just HAVE my blood.

Edit: oh...well then. Guess I'm staying here since I can't get to Gaol until I assume after I clear out the mirror version.

Gaol is the teaser/easier version of Unseen Village. Gaol is set within UV and the Gaol boss can be fought again if you miss it the first time around.

You can leave either one whenever you like. (to access Gaol lamp just climb the spiral stairs to the very top.)

You know those lanky strawberry floaters carrying a sack? Let one of them beat you and they sometimes carry you off to Gaol. Gaol is the jail portion of Unseen Village.
