Edit: oh...well then. Guess I'm staying here since I can't get to Gaol until I assume after I clear out the mirror version.

Oh and regarding how tough the early part of UV is: just run. Activate the second lamp (first one being the one you first spawn at) and things will become much less ball achy. That section with the mad women needs exploring, but it's also the toughest area of the game, if you choose to fight them all.

Of the remaining, 4 has the easier boss but is a pain in the arse to get to. 2, once you are inside, has easier enemies but a challenging boss. I would definitely try my hand at 1 plus another and then go to UV.

Wait, where is number 1? What's that?

You know those lanky strawberry floaters carrying a sack? Let one of them beat you and they sometimes carry you off to Gaol. Gaol is the jail portion of Unseen Village.

Oooh. I've done that. :datass: except I didn't do the boss. I was woefully underpowered then.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

He should be pish now. Kind of a disappointing fight when you're all growed up.

Ok. Everything makes sense now. I went through the UV and ran into something that confirms I was looking from a wrong angle.

Is the Hemwick Witch thing supposed to be really easy or did I just manage to bug her or something? I just ran around away from her minions and smashed her up. First time.

I'm getting confused by people talking about Hypogean Gaol and Unseen Village as though they were different places. As far as I can tell they are one and the same although you can't fully explore the area when you get unexpectedly transported there for the first time. When you return post Rom you even find the dead bodies of the sack carrying guys littered throughout the place.

I think an item just strawberry floated up. I got the weapon in that chest by the brick splits but got killed as the message was on screen, now I don't have it :|

I've got three bosses to go at, who is the easiest.

Cainhurst
Nightmare frontier.
Unseen village

Halp.

Logarius is far and away toughest of that lot. Unseen Village and Nightmare Frontier bosses are about equal.

You know you will still a way away from getting it, yeah? I mean Chalkitdown was going for it and the dungeon grind even got to him.

Worst thing about it is you won't get to see Upper Cath stuff soon.

It was a weapon not a key though, I didn't get in to the cage thing, just opened the chest.

Ah, the Tiny Tonitrus. You know it isn't a regular weapon yeah? It's a consumable weapon (with infinite uses), have you checked the consumables section of your inventory?

How does game save data work on PS4? Does it have info which is specific to my account and so would only work on my console, or can I upload a file and anyone with the game can use it? If it's the latter then I may have a solution for you, Ad7.

A tip if you're after the platinum: before you start NG+ make sure you have 9 of those 'hunter tools' weapons.

I thought one was a mirror version of the other at first. Started when I stumbled upon where the old lamp should have been and realised it wasn't there and the area looked different enough due to the lighting and being opened up that I assumed mirror, especially since originally it didn't seem connected to anywhere else physically.

It was only when I came across the boss out of curiosity that I realised it was the same.

Kind of disappointed because I was really liking the idea I thought it was.
