I popped in to Berggern Bregenwirt the next area and decided that getting insight sucked out the top of my head was a good reason to stop playing.

I'm going to go back to the Forbidden Woods and have a good wander around, maybe try out the first Chalice Dungeon.

It sounds like there are a few of us around the same point now, interesting that we're all approaching it differently. Part of the beauty of the game, I suppose!

I just did the shadows too, but with some online co-op help! I will add you on PSN if you fancy teaming up on some sections - can we summon PSN Friends?

You can. Agree on a password in advance, set it within the Network menu, be within 10 levels of eachother, head to the same location and ring the two bells.

Thanks :)

I'm not normally one for online play but would be interested in seeing what this is like. The only thing is...

I might be a bit ahead of you as I'm currently level 63. I've been taking my time

I'm glad I did pick exploring over going back to getting my brains sucked out. Took a trip past the Grand Cathedral and was treated to another  cutscene before being dumped in the Nightmare Lecture Theatre. Crumbs!

I didn't spend too long there but did manage to find a new set of clothes...in the form of a school uniform.

The game that keeps on giving :)

I am around the high 50's, so I should be good to go. I have been levelling up a bit too in between bosses as it helps me get better, plus enemies aren't as difficult as they were!

In a way I am glad I waited to get this game - I got it for £30 and post updates, which significantly improved the loading times. The help on here has also been top class! I think it's now time to level up more before tackling bygernwerth.

It maybe difficult to play Dark Souls after this, but I appreciate how different it is and From Software should be respected for this. There is a clear difference in quality between this and Dark Souls 2 and it seems the 'B Team' will continue making Dark Souls games from now on, which is a major disappointment. Bloodborne, is just more exciting to play and the graphics are pretty good, even if at times it seems not enough attention has been paid.

dem skills. gooseberry fools hard tho.

The second boss is the real pain in that dungeon, AOE's, sudden charging attacks, randomised attack patterns and generally a massive twat.

My arcane build should be around that level, I'll confirm tonight.

And also the flamesprayer laughs at him.

I have heard the flamesprayer is a big help, but didn't do much damage when I tried, on my 5th attempt or so! It is only upgraded +3 though as I have run out of the twin shards.

Yeah, it's pretty weak until you pump arcane and upgrade it a bit.

Yeah she is, just force of habit.

Anyway, I'm well within the summon range for level 63 so I should be good. Will just farm a few items and stuff.

I'll be free pretty much any time so just give me a time and a password and we'll be good to go.

You weren't kidding. I have the strategy down 100% but he gets lucky with a one hit kill D:

Just be happy that the last boss (I found) much easier- a harder Amygdala is still an Amygdala- and the second form is so easy that you can just stay behind him the entire time without any concern.

The secret boss is hella fun though. Hard, but not too much so. Lots of attack phases and patterns though. And it works basically on audio cues, if you ain't listenin then you ain't winnin!

I feel you. I got him down to a pixel of HP and decided to run at him to finish him without thinking- one shorted and dead ... I got so angry I punched myself in the leg!! Haha!

Grats on beating him.

Not trying to be, well whatever, here but I beat Rom on the second attempt. Took out her minions one by one, ran whenever she started doing her little dance then took my time finishing her off after she dissipates for the third time.

Maybe I'm just real gud.

EDIT: strawberry float that. I cannot do Unseen Village... It's not fun and it's not fair. strawberry float shitty respawn enemies. Why are the bell ringers always strawberry floating invisible?! I can hear them but they're nowhere to be seen.
