They're hardly part of the main game, tbh. I didn't even look at them until after I beat the final boss. The game still isn't short without them, though.

But it is more Bloodborne and there are new enemies and bosses down there too. Even if he didn't do all of it he'd still have tens more hours of the game he wants more of.

Some of the Chalice Dungeons give a really good illusion of scale. One in particular looks like you are in a huge underground network of caves, miles underground.

I loved the chalice dungeons at first but they got repetitive really quickly. Some of them do have a great sense of place though.

Just this moment finished it. What a game. Got the proper(?) ending where you turn into a baby slug monster OBVIOUSLY

Some amazing PvP stealth kills here. The window one is my favourite. Such brutal.

Started this up after a period of not playing and attempted the Gehrman fight.

I am very bad at this game.

I'm trying to catch up on my backlog and this is first on my list once I finish Arkham Knight.

I think I'm going to have to miss a lot of the extra stuff as I hit a rage wall with the Nightmare regions. Obligatory invasions do not a fun playing session make.

I understand that a complete umbilical cord :vom: is required for the complete ending. I got one part from Iosefka while she was...prone to attack. Are the other two sections easily obtainable (or as much as they can be in this) or will I have to go Hunting outwith the main story?

Yeah I saw that there just after I posted. Some dishonourable invading going on there, I dark souls 2 I nearly always get a bow before the invader tries to get me, then I kill him.

I'm now liking the bit where he appears to go Super Saiyan and then charges at me from about 20 feet away to kill me. That's a real strawberry floating laugh a minute.

What weapon are you using Sykes? I found the Blades of Mercy to be quite effective, speed is probably most important against Gehrman. Believe it or not you can dodge everything he throws at you.

Is this they guy at the end (in dream world)? If so, I just tooled up with all the oil, fire bombs and knives I could carry and used all of them before finishing him hand to hand. Took me a few attempts.

Yes?

A work colleague just picked up a ps4 bundle and this was included, he didn't want it so he gave me it to me. I've been told not to patch it? Any reason

None, patch away and enjoy the vastly improved load times for one.

He's just probably a scrub who knows the online won't be active without a patch and is scared of being invaded.

I thought Moon Presence was much easier.

His big attack can't kill you just leaves you with 1 HP and he takes time to catch his breath afterwards
that's your breather.

Doesn't striking it after 1HP BS replenish your health? Which is why my No 1 tip would be to not stop hammering the gooseberry fool.

I beat it first time 8-) After over 30 attempts on Gherman. :slol: :fp:

Saw Cleaver since I've got it +10. I'm sure you guys can dodge everything he does. I can't. If I get too close he just murderises me and at that mid-distance I'm always vunerable to that lunging scythe that pulls me in to be killed in a few hits. Plus if I try to parry and mistime it, I'm dead.

Got him down to 10-20% of his health at which point approximately 0 of my attempts to parry him worked.

Go strawberry float yourself Gehrman.
