Good answer.

Decided to level up a bit since 30 wasn't cutting it. Seen some places saying it's geared for level 65 so I guess I'll see how I do at 45.

Edit: better, but still not really enough for consistent runs.

Yeah according to the official guide 65 is the recommended level for NG and 115 for NG+ I think. Not sure I'd agree with that as it feel harder than anything in the main game, it's basically end game content. It feels pretty unbalanced in places too. Bosses have tons of HP.

This is shorter than I was expecting. There's only 3 areas which is a shame. Feels a lot smaller than the Dark Souls 1 DLC.

I've decided to do the DLC on NG+. Managed to polish off both the Cleric Beast and Father Gascoigne in about 45 minutes, which probably took me close to 5 hours the first time I did it.

Looking forward to the DLC, but sounds like I'll need to do some serious levelling-up beforehand.

Some think this is a DeSouls Remaster teaser. No idea about that, but this made me chuckle...

Last boss is a bit of a banana split.

So it's a boss in Bloodborne, then.

Got to the top of the clocktower and yes, this is just leaking Demon's Souls everywhere. That area was basically 'what if you got your 3-1 in my Duke's Archives?', then after the boss with (what I assume is) the last boss of the tower section just right behind it.

I also really liked that boss. It's like they realised the Celestial Emissary was terrible and fixed it. From an implied lore point of view, too.

Edit: so I needed to encounter a boss to get Adeline to advance her quest and couldn't be bothered making it to the next one so just decided to get summoned in. Warped directly into The Living Failures' arena. It was docile. Saw a hunter still outside.

Beckoned by: Lady Maria.

I'm sure it was just a glitch coupled with a roleplayer since the boss actually was the Failures but until then I was sure it was an Old Monk deal.

I'd say get one. There's plenty of decent exclusives like Infamous: Second Son and First Light, Uncharted collection, Journey, Hotline Miami 1&2 etc.

Plus Bloodborne is easily the best exclusive so far this gen. Have you played any of the previous Souls games?

v1.09 will allow for Blood Rocks to be purchased for 60 Insight. Blood Stone Chunks have been reduced to 20 Insight.

It's not quite clear what the pre-requisite is for getting the option to appear, but I can confirm that I have the option on both of my New Game Plus characters - one of whom is at the very beginning of the campaign. The most common theory seems to be that it's defeating Mergo's Wet Nurse on a first playthrough that unlocks the option.

So, this game is holding its value like a bastard; The Old Hunters is still going for about £45. Most game of the year editions drop in price pretty quickly.... Grrrrr :(

I really wanted to play Bloodborne so bought a PS4 bundle from Argos which included Until Dawn, Star Wars and R6 Siege . I really wanted Until Dawn (another PS4 exclusive well worth playing) so kept that and basically traded the other 2 games for the GOTY edition of Bloodborne which was £50. It would probably have been cheaper getting the base edition of Bloodborne preowned and just downloading the DLC but really wanted the copy with the DLC on disc.

I now have Bloodborne GOTY edition, Until Dawn (which I'm currently playing through) and have also bought The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 to play in the future. I also downloaded Driveclub with the season pass for £15.99 and was given a code for the Child of Light download which I'm yet to start. I'm really tempted to splurge for Rocket League but £15.99 for a game that was free on Plus a while back just seems a tad much...only here good things about though.

With the games I currently have my aim is to not make any purchase until the Enhanced Edition of Dying Light is released in February...when I was last into gaming I had a terrible habit of buying games that I'd never play and just hoard so really want to stop that.

I bought a PS4 to play this. Easily one of the games of the year for me. Cant remember the last time a game gave me such satisfaction when those two simple words appeared on scree.

PREY SLAUGHTERED :datass:

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Me?

If so, not at all. I did play some Bloodborne on friends system when it first came out and loved what I played so always had it earmarked as purchase when bought a PS4. I'm enjoying Until Dawn and will get cracking on Bloodborne as soon as I've done a couple of playthroughs of it.

TBH, I'm returning to gaming after a very long break and really my aim is to actually spend time with the games I have instead of constantly starting and stopping and trading and buying...I'm happy with the games I have.
