Cannae. Part of the NDA agreement says such things are not permitted.

I do adore this game, but it is very much a beta. Can't wait for the full release.

Aww didn't get a beta key... Sure looks good though. Will get this on DS as well as PC, as most of my workmates who play BB will be playing it over the wifi at lunch.

Sounds good. Although not worth getting excited over as I will probably not recieve one :/ Still playing the board game regularly though so not really missing out on triple skull action.

Love, love this game.

Just won a match 3 - 1, human vs. human teams. Conceded a touchdown due to some very sloppy defending - other player held his thrower + ball back toward his end of the field, and waited for half of my squad to rush him. Of course, he slips round the side and makes the pass to a completely unguarded linesman, who naturally scores. Brilliantly though, the guy tried the exact same trick as I kicked off again, leaving his one thrower in the very top corner of the field. This time round, I keep a tight line of defence at the midway point, blocking off all possible passing routes, and buy enough time for my sole blitzer to charge him. A quick push into the crowd, ball is mine, touchdown. :D

Other highlights included the meaningless failed dodge roll he tried to make which resulted in the outright death of his catcher (fell on a wayward spike?), and one of his blitzers being badly hurt by a rock thrown at the very start of the match. Surprised he didn't disconnect really, must be tempting when it seemd the dice rolls are just plain against you.

Love this game.

is it done on dice rolls? IE is there a "go for it" option, and can you buy re-rolls?

It's an exact replica of the board game. I mean... exact. Everything that you'd expect to find in a boxed Blood Bowl set is in here - re-rolls, kick-off events, fan factor, Go For Its, Star Players (Jordell Freshbreeze  ), Cyanide have done an amazing job of translating it all. So yes, on-screen dice rolls, so you can swear at the screen when your Sure Handed thrower fails to make a 3+ ball pick up. Twice.

I had one of those games last night. Every bloody roll went against me. Was 1-0 up for most of the match after a nice early catch, dodge, run. Then got torn apart and ended the game with 4 players and 1-1. The dice rolls were not my friend.

Humans often get destroyed by Orcs.

Not knowing the game much means that I've never got a clue what dice rolls are needed. Some guy last night knew it inside out. I felt out of my league. Still loved it though.
