strawberry float, that was brilliant. The Richard Harrow murder spree was strawberry floating UNBELIEVABLE.   Anyone catch the killstreak count?

{edit} I made this.

Incredible.

Nucky is DA MAN. He played 'em all. Lot of gooseberry fool set up for next season.

That was AMAZING. Must have rewatched THAT segment a good 5/6 times.

Bit odd that boring Margaret was shown, yet Van Alden hasn't appeared for like 3 episodes. Although is a ridiculously pointless character now that only seems to still exist to keep soon to be big name Michael Shannon on the show. Would like him returning next season to be involved against or for Nucky somehow. Was hoping he would show up with Capone.

Tad disappointed there was no final face to face between Nucky and Gip, but maybe they didn't want a repeat of last season.

Absolutely brilliant season, easily the best.

Fantastic finale, delivered on all fronts. Great end to what has been a great season, I'll miss it dearly.

Roll on Season 4. 8-)

The lack of even a brief finale check in with Van Aulden was a little weird. He was a bit short changed overall, I hope the writers find a way to properly integrate him more next season, the seeds are definitely sown for that happen. He did have one of the best scenes of the entire series at least.

Just watched 3x11 which was the best episode of this show I can remember. Coincidentally Margaret Schroeder didn't appear at all.

The actor was off filming movies most of the year which is why he didn't feature as much.

Finally all caught up now and my god I love this show. Started slow in the first season but really picked up. Got some questions about the last episode.

1.What exactly happened with the Rothstein heroin set up? Charlie went to sell it but Rothstein just got guys to steal it?
2.The man who killed Gyp. He was found by Eli and then told to kill Gyp by Nucky if they set him free?
3.Nucky wanted Mickey to make that deal with Rothstein so that he could then grass on him to the old man who sold him the factory?

Just caught up with this and watched the last 8 episodes over the last few days. Amazing stuff.

Loved Van Alden's ironing and Capone/Chalky getting badass but they paled into insignificance when compared to the hero that is Richard Harrow.
That strawberry floating scene!      Especially loved where he kills the last guy who's holding Tommy.

Richard and Nuck. 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) Amazing scenes!

Amazing season. Really great stuff.

Just finished the season 1 Bluray, really great so far although some of the sex scenes made for a few awkward "it's not all like this, honest" moments.

Nearly finished s2 and thought I'd already downloaded all of S3 months ago, turns out that I'm missing the last 2 episodes which I can't find any working usenet links for (other than 1080p ones, I'm looking for standard def), anyone know where I could "acquire" said eps?

Edit: found them.

Solid opening episode. I feel quite sorry for Gillian in spite of all the gooseberry fool she's done.
