I do.

All my posts are secretarial, apart from the odd time when i've had a drink or two.

Does it require thorough cleaning though? This is a dealbreaker for me!

Nope. Just a quick wipe as it only uses a tiny amount of water to create steam :D .

But it's had poopy eggs inside it, surely it must be subjected to an extreme deep clean process before being fit for service again?!

Yes I do.

So you're in the supermarket buying eggs and when checking the box to make sure you haven't got any broken ones your hand touches one of these hideously contaminated chicken ovulation's. Obviously at this point you then immediately abandon your shopping and head straight to the nearest hand sanitiser before you are safe to touch anything right?

I carry hand sanitiser in my pocket.

My only gripe is that eggs do have fecal (sp?) Matter on them. If you rinsed the pan with plain old water and wiped it with a towel, then, well is that good enough to clean gooseberry fool? If you used some fairy liquid then fairynuff.

The poopy germs are now on the towel and everyone/thing that touches it. So your office is now officially covered, from floor to ceiling in chicken doodoo.

Boiling water will have killed anything dangerous, so yes if there is nothing to see on the pan then it is fine

I really do think this topic deserves to be made into a sticky as it's a question I think the whole forum needs to answer.

Screw Brexit, this should be the first thing people think about today.

"Yes, I left bits of poo in the pan, but I boiled it to kill anything dangerous"

You're the worst.

I wash them. You filthy savage Jenuall.

(Honestly though, if he lost his gooseberry fool, that's a bit pedantic).

You should definitely wash it (before and after) if you're doing that.
