I agree!

Personally, I would like to see one or two more Bond films with Craig to finish off the story-arc with the villain then hopefully he will retire on high note.

If they go for Hiddleston over Elba... well, that'd be really rather silly.

In fact, I'd absolutely love it if they announce it's Elba, and then the next film picks up exactly where the last one left off, with Waltz's Blofeld imprisoned, Fiennes as M, Whishaw as Q, etc. and everyone acting as if Craig's Bond and Elba's Bond are exactly the same person. It'd be both a fantastic homage to the past films and a perfect F U to the whiners.

They shouldn't go for any of the names mentioned. Elba, Hiddlestone, Hardy are all too well known in my eyes. Give it to a relatively unknown actor, who can take over with less baggage from previous jobs.

I'd be okay with Craig making Bond 25, because I think he's earned going out on a high. Spectre and a 50/50 track record would be a really disappointing way for him to go

Hasn't Elba already said he's not interested (repeatedly)? Henry Cavill supremacy.

Or Olivia Coleman

They should give it to Michael Weatherly, the first American Bond.

I can do the job for just £67 million.
I would demand that the entire film be set in Bedfordshire though.

The possibilities are almost endless.
Look at all these places I can run about as Bond.

The only exception to my rule is if they decide they need to film in space for some reason.
Not green screen but really filming in space.
This does mean building an entire space-port in Bedfordshire and completing the design and construction of the Reaction Engines Spaceplane ( http://www.reactionengines.co.uk/sabre.html ) but they are saving £1 million on wages so I think it's still doable.

Maybe one of the animals from the Zoo flies into space and Bond is sent to save it as it had eaten the launch codes for the entire UK nuclear arsenal.

That's still better than Bond being chauffeur driven to the bad guys base as he was in the last film.

Idris Elba is like ten years too old.

Agreed. He's 5 years younger than Daniel Craig. Which would mean you would only be getting two or three at most movies out of him.

They need somebody in their mid-30s so that they can get a decade or so out of them.

Who cares how many he does? I'll take one amazing Elba Bond movie over none, thank you.

If imagine the people that make the movies care. They will want the new Bond to sign up for 4 or 5 movies.

One or two sources said Daniel Craig is leaving the franchise, but nothing is confirmed yet.

Apparently he will be interviewed in New York tonight at 10pm (GMT 3am) about Beyond Bond.
