Cheers. The only reason I'm even looking at Bonus Games is that I've had an e-mail that my Payback Points will expire in the next 2 months. Hate when places put an expiry on these things, especially as short as 12 months. It's Club Nintendo all over again :x

Payback points expire?! :x

Yep. I didn't realise until they told me my existing ones were close to expiring. Looks like you only get 12 months to use them.
The only reason I really have many is because of the giveaway they did after the data breach last year. Most of their methods to earn points have been "Coming Soon" for over a year now. The only real way to earn them is to be waiting for a game to come into stock whilst you have nothing on rental. I doubt many people are using Boomerang to outright buy games and earn points that way.

I've only used 'em three times; 2 free months and one bonus game. Tbh, I shouldn't mind that mine run out, because most of my points have been awarded to me for games sent out on dates they're released on.

Oddly, the GOTY edition used to be on my rental list, but that seems to have been removed from the site altogether since.

Bit of a non answer that second one. I wonder if the GotY version had DLC on disc or as a one use download code. Don't see much point in them stocking it if it was a code. (But then surely they'd have known that before deciding to take on stock...)

It was when they added the GOTY edition that the regular one was removed from being a bonus game. Would've hoped they might reverse that when they removed it again. Ah well.

GotY going for £24.99 in latest PSN sale.

Nah, rented the regular one through normal rental. It was balls. Not spending £24.99 on it.

My account reactivated after I took a couple of months off to play Fallout and do other things, and I notice both versions of Life is Strange as well as both versions of Resident Evil beginnings whatever are all in stock despite them being recent releases. That's good, isn't it?

Good for you? Yes.

Started LiS yesterday. First chapter down. Loving it.

They've posted LEGO Avengers this morning, so I will have to get on with LiS and LEGO if I want to start FC: Primal on release. I hate feeling forced into finishing a game within a certain period of time. ¬_¬

Good in general. I hope more new releases become this easy to get a hold of. Maybe more people are taking a holiday from the service, like I did.
Also have LiS through the door this morning 8-)

woop! at getting LiS.
I found the main character VA a bit odd at first, but I got used to it/it got better as the game progressed. That was my only gripe.

There were a number of games toward the end of last year (Tales of Zestiria, Divinity: OS) that were available for dispatch long after release and beyond. I put that down to the popularity of big end-of-year releases like Fallout, MG and CoD. But I think those games, like LiS, may just not be very popular choices amongst the majority of the membership. Hope I'm wrong.

:fp: I did something very stupid.

tl;dr: Assumed FC Primal was out later in week. Thought I had enough time to send back BlackOps3 and order another game, meaning I would still have one slot free for Primal. Turned out Primal is out tomorrow. Ended up upgrading sub just to guarantee Primal being sent out. (Which it was. Just now.)

Assumed Far Cry Primal was out later this week, not tomorrow. Plan on Saturday morning was to send CoDBlOps3 back on Tuesday and, in the meantime, order Ziggurat. They dispatched Ziggurat almost immediately. I have no idea why but, all of a sudden, a panic struck me. Is Primal out later in the week? I checked and learned I'd got it hugely wrong. So now I have both my slots filled with games I still have; one was winging its way to me even though I could have bought it for all of a few quid in the US PSN sale :fp:, and the other still needed to be posted back, but it was Saturday lunchtime and there was almost no way Boomerang would have got it on time *and* managed to send me Primal. So in the end, my dumbness cost me a little under £6 as I decided to bump my package to 3 games unlimited just for this month.

Which one is that, again? The one by Blizzard, or 2K... er, Epic?

Aww yisss!

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Despatched!

Been waiting on that mofo for *ages*. I actually took it off a couple of days ago as I wouldn't be able to send off Uncharted Remastered (loved playing U1 and 2, again) until today, and had another game on the list I thought I wanted more (Republique. Which turns out isn't as must play as I first read.) but, after having second thought about that one, and spotting this was on a 0-3 day wait this morning, I stuck it back on the list and *BAM* it's got sent out! Lucky!! Here's hoping I get it in time for four day weekend. :toot:
