Well yeah but still, you generally make sure your front foot is down before taking your next step when walking.

Perfect Dark XBLA anyone?

With Bethesda returning, I wonder if they're ready to reveal Elder Scrolls V? That would be awesome. It was hinted that it would be out in 2010...

Perfect Dark XBLA would be awsome

If Bethseda announce Elder Scrolls V I don't think I would be able to contain my exitement. Just think how incredible that game could be...

I heard word that they've already trademarked a name, forgot what the exact name of the province is but it's the one the Nords come from. Hopefully they'll realise that people don't give a rats ass that the Nord female is played by some washed up TV actress that used to play wonder woman and spend the money on getting more than 5 voice actors.

Should be good. Strange that as this is coming back, Leipzig has gone (even though it was considered the best gaming convention last year).

There is absolutely no way Nintendo are going to show a new DS, when the DSi will have only just appeared in western markets.

To be honest, I hope that there is no announcement about new hardware. I would rather see more games for the current consoles!

Odds are we will get a CG trailer at E3 a bit like we did with Fallout. There wont be any game play.

Please, please, please, Nintendo. I want a massive E3 blow-out--an endless concatenation of thrilling titles set for the Wii and DS (though, preferably, for the Wii) in the foreseeable future. And perhaps even a taster of far off games, please.

I just want a tide of good games to be shown. I'm not going to get it, but I can always dream.

Hopefully Beyond Good and Evil will show up, along with various surprises from Nintendo.

Its title sequence, if you don't skip to the Press Start screen, includes the words 'Metroid IV'.

Good god yes!

As long as the slowdown was sorted, graphics improved a la alleged Goldeneye XBLA and online multiplayer was involved, there would be absolutely no hesitation whatsoever!

Good to hear proper E3 is returning! Last year's, particularly Nintendo's effort, was an embarrassment. :fp:

There's no need to be here any longer than necessary. Let's split up, look for survivors, and get out of here.

I have a gaming blog too. Read it if you wish; if you don't I won't take it too personally. Metro 2033 is shite!

Not meaning to be an apologist here (it was a shambles, really awful), but Nintendo's E3 2008 was only the way it was because Nintendo execs took a strong dislike to the 'Nu E3' and decided it was no longer fit to host their core audience titles. With the traditional E3 back, they should be re-evaluating their trade show priorities.

Nintendo's audience breakdown must look something like this, then:

I don't remember them saying that. Got a source on that?

I remember Shigsy saying that E3 is the venue that mainstream, non-gaming, press pay the most attention to, so they see that as the best chance to show off titles that would appeal to that audience, and "hardcore" games would be shown at other venues from now on.

I vaguely remember reading a quote from Iwata's recent fiscal briefing that suggested that this E3 would be similar to the last, with games revealed to target new audiences. I was more concerned with Another Code's EU release to actually read the quotes, so I could be wrong.
