What is Turok like on the PC? Never completed it on the N64 but got quite far into it. Can you now save anywhere or still only at certain places?

I think Im done with Scribblenauts, Im not that far into but its not exactly grabbed me, it was never a game I was super interested in and I only got it as part of some bundle so I think Ill be abandoning that one and just crossing it off my backlog. Im not far into Risen 2 but Im enjoying it, its just like Risen so far and thats just what I wanted really. Ill probably just tip away at Pokemon Sun over the next few weeks, play a bit before bed, that kind of thing. BoxBoxBoy is great and everyone should play it, I cant wait for the new one.
