Spoiler alert: PSVR support won't be there at launch but will arrive in a launch window update.

It has competitive online MP plus MMO malarkey and it's not rubbish! ;)

Seriously though, you'll love it!

:o ... "I'm excited!". Will that be in the issue arriving on 20 Dec, Pell?

Yep! That's the one. 32 pages fatter than normal. Still recovering from deadline – and on the next deadline already. *dies*

I received my subscriber copy today... great stuff! A fatter mag with a brilliant subscriber cover. I just had a quick look at the review of The Last Guardian and your score ties up with my thinking :toot: .

Jen would have given it that too if she'd reviewed it. I've not had a chance to play it but have it installed and it's my treat for finishing the next issue tomorrow... I wrote the previous issue's preview, though, hence the 2nd op.

But back on topic... Elite! At last!

I'm hoping it comes to VR and Frontier have mentioned the subject in reply to a question on the PS Blog. I think it was two years ago that I attended the Eurogamer show and played Frontier using the Oculus Rift. It was an amazing feeling being at the front of the cockpit and flying close to a giant sun. Hope NMS gets a PSVR update too.

I have this on my laptop and haven't played it in probably over a year, but having it on console appeals to me MASSIVELY.

GRcade PS4 Space Division?

Cool! Always been intrigued by Elite, although it sounds like it could be either amazing or really boring. I will try the PS4 version.

Definitely interested and the continued murmurings of PSVR down the line mean I'll probably wait for a sale.

Surely PSVR is out of the question without a vast reduction in visuals

I've had this game on PC for what seems like years now. I have never made any progress in it at all. I bought into the Horizons update, too. I just can't figure out how to make any money. Whatever I try is doomed to failure and I always just give up after a while and forget about the game for another six months. By the time I come back it's had another large update and everything I knew about it has been forgotten.

Yes, it's always looked good to me, but just how do I actually make some cash and get started in the damn thing?

Not interested in combat, just a nice quiet life as a trader moving around the galaxy doing my own thing.

Well with this and eurotruck I just accept a life doomed to debt and breaking even most of the time so it's not all that different to real life really. ;)

Elite's not really 'a looker', a simple lower resolution would look ok I reckon.

As for making cash go to space stations/planet stations and take on the missions... most of them are cargo based, sure they may have a warning that you'll be randomly attacked for your loot but at the start that rarely happens.
